Thank you for your interest.
Style West is the next generation of show for emerging artists who work in the Western Genre.
Held in Cody, Wyoming during the Celebration of the Arts Week in September, Style West joins Cody High Style at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center, The Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale and the Patron’s Ball.
Established by Thea Marx, former executive director of the Western Design Conference and expert on Contemporary Western Design, Style West is meant to be a place of discovery and learning for the public and artists/craftspeople alike. “It’s so important to give up and coming artists a platform and an audience”, says Marx who has spent 14 years emersed in Western Design.
“Style West is a fun combination of art, craft and style,” she says.
A beautiful array of western artists and furniture makers will be side by side with fashion designers and traditional crafters. At Style West you can see a magnificient antler chandelier, buy a custom beaded belt, try on a to-die-for leather jacket and watch a jeweler work on a one-of-a kind piece. Don’t be surprised if you smell the astringent smell of fresh oil paints and find yourself sinking into the lusciously soft down cushion of a custom settee.
Everyday two fashion shows will highlight Style West fashion and jewelry. The shows begin at 2 and 4 pm each day running a short 15 minutes each.
Make sure you visit ContemporaryWesternDesign.com and see all the artists.
